Shawn O’Connor is proud to vigorously advocate on behalf of personal, corporate, and non-profit clients in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New York. Shawn graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School where he worked on the renowned Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. Shawn also earned his Masters in Business Administration with Highest Honors from Harvard Business School.
Shawn was admitted to the bar of Massachusetts in 2007, the bar of New York in 2010, and the bar of New Hampshire in 2017. He is also a member of various bar associations. Shawn is a successful entrepreneur as well as an attorney; in 2014, he sold Stratus Prep, a company he founded in 2006 to a leading private equity firm.
Shawn focuses his practice on Family Law, Corporate, Small Business, & Start-Up Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, Civil Litigation, Personal Injury/Accidents, Criminal Law, Medical Malpractice, Civil Rights Litigation, Employment Law, Immigration, and Wills, Trusts, and Estates. Shawn is a member of numerous bar associations in the three jurisdictions in which he is admitted to practice.
For his undergraduate education, Shawn attended Georgetown University’s esteemed Walsh School of Foreign Service where he majored in International Politics, minored in Latin American Studies, was recognized for the highest cumulative GPA with the Dean’s Medal and was awarded the Best Thesis Prize for Latin American Studies. Shawn is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese.
